Mr. Sims is from Herrin, Illinois and now lives with his wife Jennifer and two children in Carterville, Illinois.  Mr. Sims attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, receiving an Associates of Applied Science as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies.  Mr. Sims has recently earned is Masters in Architecture from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.  Mr. Sims is licensed to practice Architecture in Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, which will allows him to be easily licensed in 45 other states. 

 

Mr. Sims’ has over twenty-six years of experience in architecture and construction include facility condition assessments, space programming, design, project scheduling and sequencing, estimating, bidding and contract negotiations, construction administration, and observation.
